The Consular Section of the Embassy of Angola in the Republic of Serbia provides assistance and services to Angolan citizens living in the area of its jurisdiction as well as visa services for all Serbians and Foreign Citizens residing in the Republic of Serbia, as well as Bulgaria, Montenegro and Romania.

The Consular Section of the Embassy of Angola in Serbia, is open to the public assistance from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 AM to 13:00 PM
General Visa informations
I – Requirements for an Ordinary Visa:
- Visa application form to be duly completed in black capital letters, signed by the applicant;
- Two recent passport size pictures with a white background and with name of applicant written on the back of each and glued.(No snapshots allowed);
- A passport valid for at least 6 months
- Documentation or correspondence related to the purpose of travel or, invitation letter particularly addressed to this consular section or Embassy.
- Foreign permanent residents must submit Police Clearance Certificate authenticated by the police authorities of the country of origin or the country of residence
- An Invitation Letter sent by the Individual or institution to be contacted in Angola;
- Copy of a travel itinerary;
- Amount payable: $70,00. Personal checks are not accepted.
- Proof of means of subsistence while in Angola ($100,00 per day)
Note:
- A) – A Bank statement or letter from an employer sponsoring the travel no suffices as proof.
- B) The ordinary visa takes up to 5 working days.
II – Requirements for a Transit Visa:
- All requirements listed under Paragraph I however, copy of a ticket is required
- Visa application form to be duly completed in black capital letters, signed by the applicant;
- Two recent passport size pictures with the name written on the back, white background ( No snapshots allowed )
- Passport valid for at least 6 months
- Amount payable $50,00. Personal checks are not accepted.
III – Requirements for a Short Stay Visa
For Short-Term Employment:
- All requirements listed under Paragraph I however, copy of a ticket is required;
- Visa application form to be duly completed in black capital letters, signed by the applicant;
- Two recent passport size pictures with the name written on the back, white background (no snapshots allowed)
- The invitation must be issued by the Ministry of petroleum of Angola
- Amount payable $80,00. Personal checks are not accepted.
- The short stay visa takes up to 4 working days.
IV – Requirements for Work Visa
The work visa must be initiated in the country of origin. The Consular office sends the work visa request to the Angolan Migration Services (SME) in Angola for approval.
The work visa is valid for one year and multiple entries are permitted and the validity of the visa may not exceed the period of the contract.
V – Additional Requirements for a Work Visa
- Copy of a contract signed by the representative of the firm or institution employing, hiring or sponsoring the trip, stating specifically the job to be performed by applicant, the duration of the contract, and the fact that employer takes full financial responsibility for the applicant. Contract must be authenticated by a Public Notary and it must be addressed to the Consular Services of the Embassy of Angola.
- Visa application forms to be duly completed in black capital letter, signed by the applicant
- Two additional passport size pictures (no snapshots allowed).
- Statement authenticated by a Public Notary indicating that applicant agrees to abide by the Angolan Laws
- Police clearance Certificate authenticated by the Police authorities of the country of origin or the country of residence, translated and duly authenticated
- Medical Certificate of health, including HIV test results translated and duly authenticated
- Applicant’s or beneficiary letter, addressed to the Diplomatic Mission, which contains request for work visa
- Authenticated copy of the passport
- Diploma or Certificate of Achievement
- Work Contract
- Curriculum Vitae
- The complete process must be submitted in original and duplicate, translated and duly authenticated
- Authorization of the Ministry of Public Administration, Employment and Social Security
- Amount payable $250,00. Personal checks are not accepted.
VI – Requirements for Residence Visa
- Applicant’s or beneficiary letter, addressed to the Diplomatic Mission, which contains request for residence visa;
- Visa application form to be duly completed in black capital letter, signed by the applicant (obtain the application form in SME- Angolan Migration Services);
- Police clearance Certificate authenticated by the Police authorities of the country of origin or the country of residence, translated and duly authenticated;
- Medical Certificate of the country of origin, translated and duly authenticated;
- Letter of the host person or proof of residence property or residence rent;
- Proof of existence of sustenance funds;
- Three recent colored passport size photographs (no snapshots allowed);
- Copy of the passport, main pages and the ones that contain information on the migratory movements;
- Declaration on respecting the Angolan Laws;
- Amount payable $200, 00. Personal checks are not accepted.
VII – Requirements for Diplomatic and Official Visa
- Visa application form to be duly completed in black capital letter, signed by de applicant;
- Two passport size photos (no snapshots allowed)
- Allow 48 hours upon receipt of the passport
- A verbal note from the Ministry of External Affairs (for Serbian, Bulgarian, Bosnian, Macedonian and Romanian Diplomatic and Service Passport.
VIII – CIVIL REGISTRATION AND NOTARY
The Consular Act of Civil Registry is the one who is related to legal facts that create, modify or extinguish the status of civilian nationals residing abroad or, occasionally, who practice is provided in the legislation regarding the registration process conducted in a civil and consular post, or Consulates.
“The following are the acts of Consular Civil Registry and Notary”:
- Birth certificate
- Marriage certificate
- Death certificate
- Celebration of Marriage between Angolans and between Angolans and foreigners
- Authentication or legalization of documents
1. Requirements for obtaining the Birth Certificate:
It should be made in this Consular Section in the following way:
- Document issued by the Health Services of Local authorities, as proof of birth of the person in that area;
- The newborn should be son or daughter of Angolans parents or at least one Angolan and foreign or vice versa;
- The parents or one of them will be accompanied by a document identifying them as parents of the newborn (Angolans abroad)
2. Requirements for the organization of process of marriage:
- Those interested should be Angolans or at least one of them;
- Those interested should be in possession of certificate of birth narrative
- Certificate of residence
- Copy of ID (B.I.) or Passport
